The Nairobi Kinanda Arts Festival is a monthly Arts extravaganza of music, poetry, visual art, creative writing, spoken word, film and street art..offerings. All this happening over a single weekend, the last Sunday Afternoon, every month.
The May Edition of the Nairobi Kinanda Arts Festival (#kinandafest5) falls on the 29th May 2011; in this edition we will have the usual bricolage of great music, spoken word from two critically acclaimed poets i.e Adelle and Rigga, all these adding to the carnival atmosphere that is the Nairobi Kinanda Arts Festival. We have added the GALLERY: an exciting addition to this month's and future editions of the festival, whereby we will be inviting two of the East Africa's Visual finest visual artists to showcase their work. Kinandafest5 will have the honor of hosting acclaimed photographers : Mutua Matheka (@truthslinger) and Steve Kitoto (@stevekitos)
